Viral Candied Cranberries

These viral candied cranberries came out WAY better than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t stop popping them into my mouth. We only made a half batch, not knowing what we were getting ready to concoct. I will say, the next batch will be a full size one.
Baby girl saw this on Tiktok and asked if we could try it out. she just wanted to hear them pop in her mouth – which they do!
After looking into it, and asking some fellow foodies, I found that you can soak them in basically anything. From juice, to soda, to sparkling wine, or hard cider – Sounds like if it’s wet, it will work lol!
We went with Apple Cider and Ginger Ale – because that’s what I had.

Once in the container, they were covered and left alone until the next day.
The following morning, we drained the berries, tossed them in the sugar and baked. Of course we have to try them as soon as they came out. They were okay. The sugar was still gooey and the bite was a little soft. However, once they cooled down I was addicted.
