Peanut Butter and Nutella French Toast

Peanut Butter and Nutella French Toast

10 Sliced Texas Toast (This loaf of bread was from Half Baked Café in Beverly Farms)

3 Eggs

½ Cup, Plus 1 Tablespoon Milk

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Dash of Nutmeg

Pinch Allspice

Butter for Greasing the Skillet

For Topping:

¼ Cup Nutella

½ Teaspoon Coconut Oil

½ Cup Peanut Butter

Powdered Sugar (Optional)

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and spices.
  2. Preheat and grease a skillet over medium low heat.
  3. Dip slices of bread on both sides into the egg mixture and place onto greased heated skillet
  4. Turn toast once a golden color is created.  Once both sides are “toasted”, remove from heat.
  5. In another bowl, place Nutella and coconut oil.  Heat in microwave for 20 – 30 seconds and combine until melted
  6. Place peanut butter in another bowl and microwave until melted.
  7. Drizzle Nutella and Peanut Butter separately over cooked French toast, then sprinkle with powered sugar.
