Chocolate Marble Banana Bread
This was a delicious rendition of the normal recipe I usually make. Instead of the normal chocolate chips. I decided to incorporate the chocolate yumminess through the entire loaf.

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup White Sugar
3 Ripe Bananas
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger Paste

2 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup, Plus 1 Tablespoon reserved for topping
1 Tablespoon Hot Fudge Sauce
2 Teaspoons Cocoa Powder
2 Tablespoons Chocolate Shavings (Optional)
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Sift the dry ingredients together in a bowl (first 9 ingredients).
- In a separate bowl, mash the bananas and add the wet ingredients, minus the chocolate syrup, hot fudge sauce and cocoa powder.
- Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Reserve 1/4 of the batter and place the 1/2 of the remaining batter in a greased loaf pan
- Combine the reserved batter with the chocolate syrup, hot fudge sauce and cocoa powder.
- Place dollops of the chocolate batter randomly on top of the batter in the loaf pan.
- Pour the remaining batter over the dollops and top with additional dollops of chocolate batter.
- Swirl the two batters using a toothpick.
- Bake for 35 – 45 minutes or until the center springs back when lightly pressed upon.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with chocolate syrup and chocolate shavings.
