Burrito Bowl
Taco Tuesday! I made Burrito Bowls instead of Tacos this time around. so easy and tasty.
Baby Girl helped make the guacamole – mixing and mashing the avocado, cilantro, onions and garlic. She had a hard time squeezing the lime, but preserved and was so proud of her creation. We seasoned with cumin and oregano – which rounded off the flavor perfectly.
Even though I like a little heat, my family prefers their meals to be a little more mild. Instead of the standard taco seasoning packet, I seasoned the ground beef with Goya Sofrito Base, cumin, oregano, lime juice and a drop or two of agave.
To build the bowl, I used:
- Cooked White Rice
- Seasoned Ground Beef
- Yellow Corn Kernels
- Black Beans
- Salsa
- Sour Cream
- Guacamole
- A Wedge of Lime
We’ll definitely be making this again.
