Back Yard Get Together

It’s been a while since my friends and I had a little gathering, so we decided to have a little “End of Summer” reunion this weekend.
I wanted to make things easy, so I picked up some sandwich fixings. I made a deli platter with roast beef, sliced turkey and honey ham. There were pickles, olives and some veggie sticks along side a cheese plate made of American, Swiss and Cheddar.
Ground beef was on sale this weekend and I had a package of Nathan’s Beef Hot Dogs in the fridge, so at the last minute I decided to make sliders and dogs as well.
For sides, I had a bag of Ruffles potato chips and made a Lipton Soup Onion Dip (a packet of soup mix to a 16 oz. container of sour cream prepared at least 1 hour before serving). I also put out some tortilla chips and salsa.
I’m not sure where I found the time, but I was able to whip up my pasta salad at the last minute as well. I’m glad I did, as it was a party favorite!
For sweet treats, Baby Girl helped and made some mini brownies from a box mix. She wanted to make some cookies, so I picked up some refrigerated cookie dough for chocolate chip and sugar cookies. I set up a little candy bar for the kiddos (not shown) and a beautiful Edible Arrangement platter was also brought to be enjoyed by all.
